When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even
his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7 NKJV
In our recent times, we have been keeping
isolated to prevent contracting the COVID-19 virus or spreading it to other people.
Families, friends and communities have been kept apart, relating with each other
remotely. In the church, prayers have been raised like never. We have cried to
the Lord for His help during these extraordinary times. A period in history
that will be told and retold for generations to come.
These times have made me reflected further on the nature of man’s
relationship with Elohim God and vice-versa. The Holy Scriptures helps us to
have some level of understanding of this relationship as revealed by the Holy
Spirit.
Proverbs 16:7 highlighted that when a man’s way please the Lord, God
makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. As the world reels under this
deadly pandemic, it is a good time to reflect on our ways and our relationship
with our Creator.
Yeshua Jesus came to reconcile man (humankind) back to his creator.
Christ offered us salvation unto eternal life through faith in Him. A get out
of jail card that secures our freedom from the kingdom of darkness into
a new life in the Kingdom of Christ marvellous light. A new life of living in
righteousness, our ways continually pleasing to Elohim God.
Even during this crisis, as an individual, a family, a community, a
nation, our ways must be pleasing to the only True God. Let us pray for the
grace to live to please and be pleasing to the LORD.

Almighty Father, thank you for the gift of
my life and salvation. In the name of Yeshua Jesus, help me to examine my ways
and life according to Your words and Kingdom pattern. Let my enemies be at peace with me. Amen.
I pray that this inspires you to reflect on
your relationship with Elohim and be determined to be more and do more for Him
each day.
