“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

We are always encouraged by the knowledge that we are a new creation in
Christ. Old things have passed, everything has become new.
However, many are still waiting for this new life to begin. Some are
still struggling to understand what this new life means. This is because there
is little difference between their current and previous way of life.
As a new believer I knew my life was no longer the same, nevertheless it
took me years, and am still learning each day, to really understand what this
means. The reality is that, it is a daily walk to keep old things in the past and focus on the new ones.
There must be a deliberateness to walk in newness of life in Christ.
This might sound so spiritual, so let’s break it down.
Christ died for you and me, so that all our sins will be on him and we become holy in the sight of Elohim God. We have life because of him, as such we no
longer live for our-self but for him. And that is the new life.
A life in Christ Jesus, where He takes pre-eminence. He is first, last
and center of it all. He is not relegated to thereafter. The love of Christ
should compel us to leave the sinful life behind. The sacrifice He made is the
propeller for making all things new in Him.
This new life is not about blessings of material things but much more
glorious blessings than that. It is about our new identify in Christ, our
purpose for living and our calling in the Kingdom of God.
Let us not limit it to worldly status that has no relevance in eternity.
We must ensure our relationship with Christ remains new so that we do not slip
into old things.

Almighty Father let all that I am be well pleasing to You. May I live,
no longer for myself but for Jesus who died for me and rose again that I might
have life.
Amen
I pray this inspires you to be more and do more for Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ). Spend this week to meditate on the
passage and take relevant step to live out your faith.
