Jesus is a name many people are familiar with, either as a believer or not. We read his story in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible and other books. We watched his story told and retold in films and movies. We listened to teachings, sermons about Him.
We are only able to understand the divine Jesus from the experience of the earthly Jesus and the revelation given to us by the Holy Spirit.
Who is Jesus to you?
He is the Son of God the Father. He was at the creation of the earth. He came to fulfil the reconciliation of man back to His God. He sacrificed his earthly life, was resurrected by the Holy Spirit on the third day, and he commissioned his disciples to take the good news of His sacrificial work to the ends of the earth, so that all those who believe by faith would have a relationship with God and have the assurance of eternal life, as was originally intended by Him in the beginning.
Who is Jesus to you?
The Son of Yahweh. He was with Yahweh from the beginning. He was in Heaven with God and then He came to earth, in human form
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 NKJV
His birth was never seen before neither since then. He was conceived of a virgin by the Holy Spirit. This of course is mind blowing. We know the natural order of things, seed of man and the egg of a woman.
Jesus was the revelation of Yahweh, here on earth. He declared Yahweh to us. He taught about Yahweh, the Father. He taught about himself - who he is, why he came to the earth and what the kingdom of Yahweh is like. He revealed our God to us and explained the way back to God. “No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.” John 1:18 NKJV
Jesus himself spoke a lot about His Father, especially in the gospel of John. He made us understand that He came from the Father. He came to the earth to fulfil the work of His Father.

Almighty Father, thank You for the gift of my salvation and the Holy Spirit. I pray for spiritual wisdom and insight so that I might grow in your knowledge. I pray that my heart will be flooded with light so that I can understand the confident hope in Yeshua. Amen.
