To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1
Firstly, I want to thank and give all the glory to the Almighty God who
is able to do exceedingly above all that we can ever ask or think. It is a privilege
and honour to be chosen as a vehicle of His work here in earth. I do not
deceive myself that I did anything to deserve it because it was His purpose
even before I was created.
I will be rounding up the #WordforToday with this for the year 2018.
When Elohim laid this in my heart at the beginning of the year, I was
excited. It was initially for my own spiritual journey, still is but it became
clear it was also to be shared to encourage others. As I realised God’s gifts
in me, I understood that He gives revelation for teaching and bringing people
(including me) into a deeper relationship with Him.
This year was both exciting and challenging, the latter due to the need
to be in a place to receive from the Holy Spirit and put it down in writing. Sometimes,
it did not work due to my travels. Other times it was laziness and
procrastination. Nevertheless it was exciting, because of the amazing things Elohim did this year
in my life; the most incredible people I met and the new places I was privileged
to visit.
Thank you for reading my blog and being part of this incredible journey to spiritual maturity with the Almighty God.
I pray that my life has been a reflection of Christ and has encouraged
you in your walk with the Lord.
#WordforToday and #PrayerforToday will be back by the grace of Elohim in
2019. To ensure you do not miss any, why not subscribe at https://ajourneyintospiritualmaturity.blogspot.com/
If you have read any or some of these in 2018, and it has been a
blessing kindly drop me a line. We are taught to encourage ourselves in the
Lord as David did, but we can also encourage each other in the Lord as well.
Have a fabulous holiday season with your family.
See you in 2019 by the grace of Yeshua.
#PrayerforToday 21 Dec 2018
This prayer is for you and I, that we may be filled with the knowledge
of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy
of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to
His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy. Colossians 1:9-11 NKJV
