You will know them by their fruits... Matthew 7:16
How possible is it for a fig tree to fruit apples or vice-versa? The fruit of a tree comes from within the tree. A tree cannot bring
forth what is not in it.
A born-again Christian has a unique identity not only in
name but a regenerated life. That life becomes like a tree, that is rooted in
Jesus Christ. A tree that is fruitful. A tree that brings forth fruits of the
Kingdom life.
A born-again Christian whose life is not manifesting
Kingdom fruits will otherwise bring forth worldly fruits. A life that is
reflective of Kingdom values and principles is the evidence of our faith.
Many, unfortunately by their character brings reproach to
the faith. It is shameful when you hear people say “And he calls himself a Christian,” when someone who claims to be one behaved otherwise. A fruit of the Kingdom is love, yet you are
full of hatred. Another is peace but you are a stirrer of discord. Honesty is a
delicious fruit but you find bitter lies sweet to your soul.
The standard we expect from the teachers and preachers of
the word of God is very high. Why should your life be opposite of what you teach
or preach about? We should stop making excuses for spiritual leaders – they are
just mere men; they are still human; no-one is perfect. What rubbish. Such are hypocritical
Pharisees that Jesus warned about. Dear under-Shepherd, preach first to thyself. Show us the Kingdom by your action.
What is the point of calling yourself a Christian if your
life is like that of an unbeliever? You are bringing reproach unto the name of
the Almighty God whom you claim to be called by. Get rid of your rotten fruits
and be grafted to the True Vine.

Almighty Father,
thank You for the gift of my salvation. Help me oh Lord to be true to You. Help
me to live a live that demonstrate Christ in me. Let my life reflect the fruits of the Kingdom to the glory of Your name. In the name of Yeshua my Lord and
Saviour I pray. Amen
I pray
this inspires you to be more and do more for Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus
Christ).
